Harcourt
Cottage
Harcourt Cottage is a 18th century grade II listed residence that once formed part of a public house. The scheme incorporates a largely glazed
rear extension across two levels, adding more usable floor space and providing a more comfortable circulation within the building for its
residents.
The design is focused around bringing as much light as possible into the living and bedroom spaces and mixes traditional forms with contemporay detailing. Large floor to ceiling glazed windows were adopted, accented with the natural cotswold stone and a combination of recon stonesfield and slate roof tiles.
The west facing rear facade offers views out into a long garden countryside and a fanstic sunset in ther summer months.
