6th Form
Centre
Following the success of our award winning library, we were asked to extend and re-vamp the existing 6th form front of house. This includes a large glazed lounge area, work area, offices and an upgrade of the main entrance.
The lounge area ceiling consists of walnut panels at different levels with a central roof lantern and is designed to inspire. Between the panels there are glimpses of the mechanical and electrical services needed for the space to function.
Externally, sliding timber louvres and brise soleil help control direct sun when needed. Accoya wood was specified due to its excellent stability and longevity.
