Bristol care facility is lined up for an overhaul

EMMANUEL COURT, CLIFTON, BRISTOL

Concepts have been prepared to re-design common area lighting and re-vamp the main common room for an iconic building in Bristol owned and managed by Brunel Care. Constructed on the site of a ruined church in the 1980s, the remaining original tower then formed part of a newly designed facility. Well designed and well built at the time, it is one of a small number of late 20th century buildings to have been Grade II listed by English Heritage. Needless to say, many of the ideas and finishes are now dated so concepts have been presented to bring the common parts of the building into the 21st century.
