Spring has sprung! - Vertical gardens?

Spring, one of our favourite times of the year here, and this past weekend was the nicest (and warmest) of the year so far! Richard, one of our architectural assistants had an old wooden pallet hanging around in his garden, and came up with an ingenious way to plant strawberries and other small plants in between the slats. Polythene was simply stapled to the inside of the frame to create 100mm deep planters, the same as each timber planks and ideal for herbs an strawberries. See below and we can't wait to see how this little vertical garden matures!
