First prize goes to Headington School Library

The School Library Association (SLA) have awarded our Headington School Library project joint first prize in their annual school library awards. The awards assess operation and environment, and our library scored highly on both fronts. The judges were particularly impressed with the seamless connection beginning with the 100 year old gym, then through the glass reading room and towards the historic quad. They described the experience as 'therapeutic' and noted the students enjoyment of the space. The judges also described the project as "an excellent school library model for the 21st century"

Naturally we are delighted. The whole process from beginning to end was inspirational and rewarding, our client had a clear vision, and together with the wider design team, the project was delivered successfully.

We are pleased to be continuing to work on the site and our 6th form centre expansion project has just recently been submitted for planning approval.
